Pratishtha

Construction of the prayer area is on schedule to be completed. Preparations are in full swing for the Murti Pratishta Mahotsava on August 7th, 8th and 9th. Please see the high level details below. A more detailed schedule is attached with this email. We will continue to share additional details with you.
In addition, information sessions to provide greater details and to help prepare devotees for the Murti Pratistha Mahotsava shall be held after Arti on (a) Sunday, July 20, (b) Sunday, July 27 and (c) Sunday, Aug 3. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thursday, Aug 7:
3 to 5 PM: Preparation Puja carried out by Pandits. (Optional attendance for devotees)
4:45 to 5:30 PM: Registration (meet at the Police station adjacent to the Temple)
5:30 to 6:30 PM: Shobha Yatra (Once in a life time Grand procession with Kalash and murtis, dances, dhol on King Road from the Police station to the Temple).
6:30 to 8 PM: Pratishta Puja
8 PM: Buffet Dinner (Western flavors)

Friday, Aug 8:
9AM to Noon: Pratah Puja carried out by Priests (Optional attendance for devotees)
3:30 to 4PM: Registration
4 to 7:30 PM: Pratishta Puja. Murtis moved into the temple in a procession at 5:30 PM. Pratishta puja continues.
7:30 PM: Sit down Dinner (Southern flavors). Mehndi (Henna). Entertainment

Saturday, Aug 9
7 to 8:30 AM: Breakfast and registration
8:30 to 10 AM: Pratah Puja and Pratishta Yajna/ Homam
10 to 1 PM: Utsav Murti Yatra Procession around temple. Murti Pratishta and Pratham Darshan in the renovated temple
1 to 2 PM: LUNCH (Gujarati Flavor)
4 to 7:30 PM: Pratham Puja
7:30 PM: Sit down Dinner (Northern flavors). Entertainment - live Indian musical band

As part of the Murti Pratistha ceremony, Annakoot / Chappan Bhog of all the Gods is scheduled on Sat, Aug 9th at 6 PM. All devotees are requested to take the opportunity to participate in this glorious Annakoot / Chappan Bhog, by signing up for Mahaprasad food items. Sign up for at least one Mahaprasad food item by going to the PerfectPotluck.com website, and locate the schedule by coordinator last name (Singhania) and password (temple).
If signing up for more than one Mahaprasad food item, then please enter your name against each item. Boxes to bring in Mahaprasad should be picked up from either the Temple or Reddy Food & Spices (6725 W Central Ave, Toledo, OH 43617). ALL THE FOOD ITEMS FOR ANNAKOOT/ CHAPPAN BHOG SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THE TEMPLE BY 2 PM ON SATURDAY, AUG 9.
